Up the Creek’s Annual Holiday Party will be Saturday, December 19th at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 1475 South Colorado Blvd. The hotel is located at the intersection of Arkansas Avenue and Colorado Blvd. (West side of Colorado Blvd. and just a few blocks North of I-25 and Colorado Blvd.).
The Holiday Party will be held in the Skyline Ballroom which has panoramic views of Denver and the mountains. The holiday lights should be absolutely spectacular from this 11th floor location! The band, As Is will provide our dancing entertainment. As Is has a “dance-till-you drop” rhythm section that plays the best songs from every decade guaranteeing a full dance floor all night long!

Details: Picture spending New Year’s Eve at a local hotel in their exquisite ballroom with linen tablecloths and candles adding to the décor. Then, if you choose, purchase a discounted hotel room through me and come early to get changed, or pre-party with friends, then come down to the ballroom at 7:30 and dance till 1:00 a.m. and then go home or spend the night and go to some after parties of new/old friends in their hotel room. (Pre-Parties and After Parties are for those that are planning on spending the night. If you decide to go to a pre-party or after party please be considerate and bring your own beverage and appetizers and something to pass around). We’ll put signs on hotel doors telling who are willing to host parties (5th floor for sure) and we’ll go from room to room before and after the dance meeting new people.
You could even be creative and have a themed room, ie. Jamaican Room, French Room (French Wine and French Pastries), German Room (German Beer with Brats)…with themed drinks…
You may want to coordinate a nice dinner with your friends before the party.
