Most people who really are looking for their soulmate aren't going to find them hanging out in bars. Bars are fun, but really aren't the best environment to meet and get to know someone new. With internet dating at least you already know the basics age, kids, smoking, non-smoking etc... yes, they can lie to you on their profile, but they are even more likely to lie to you in a bar after a few drinks and with their buddies or gal pals watching to see the show.
